The One True Love and Light (“OTLAL”) Low-Barrier Transportation Program (“the Service”) exists to provide free or subsidized local transportation to members of marginalized communities including, but not limited to:
The Service is designed to support access to essential services such as medical appointments, social programs, employment opportunities, spiritual gatherings, grocery trips, and community resources.
Transportation services are offered on a case-by-case basis depending on availability, need, and eligibility verification.
Eligibility may be determined through:
OTLAL reserves the right to determine eligibility and to deny, delay, or reschedule rides at its discretion, subject to fairness and equity principles.
By participating in this Service, passengers agree that:
Passengers may be required to sign or verbally agree to a Transportation Waiver and Consent Form before participating in the Service.
OTLAL may collect limited personal information (e.g., name, contact details, trip purpose, and emergency contact) solely for:
All personal information is handled in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and OTLAL’s internal privacy policy.
Information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or to coordinate essential services with partner agencies.

Violation of this code may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the Service.

Our Transportation Service is guided by Christian Faith but remains free and open to everyone. Riders are never required to participate in religious activities or political advocacy, which are separate from the services we provide.
In the event of an emergency, the driver will contact 911 or the appropriate local authority immediately.
OTLAL staff will complete an Incident Report within 24 hours of any significant event involving injury, vehicle damage, or unsafe behaviour.

OTLAL reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and available at all OTLAL offices or vehicles. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
